Hoisting cranes of Miory rolling mill were examinated by Gospromnadzor

Sergey Skoromnik, an expert at Novopolotsk Interdistrict Department of Vitebsk Regional Administration of Gospromnadzor (Department for Supervision of Industrial Safety of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus), visited the Miory polling mill. He re-inspected mounted hoisting cranes (2 units of ТА II-12-15.5-8 type) prior to putting into service and registration in local Gospromnadzor.

It was set out that hoisting cranes and its siting correspond to passport data, regulation of Industrial Safety of hoisting cranes and operational safety; load-lifting cranes are in a stable condition which ensures its safe operation. Operational safety of cranes meets all the requirements of industrial safety.

Mechanisms, brakes, hydraulic and electrical tools, safety devices and instruments as well as state of metal structures and welded (riveted) connections, cabin, ladders, platforms, and fencing, state of a hook and blocks, and load ropes were inspected and tested.

Static and dynamic tests were conducted with a load taken from indication of actual weight of load, according to the passport data. Both cranes successfully passed tests and were registered in Novopolotsk Interdistrict Department of Vitebsk Regional Administration of Gospromnadzor.
